I valued Ian as a friend, he was always willing to help in any way whenever he could. He was a gentleman, always polite and I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. He was tireless in his service to the community. We have many happy memories of being in Round table together. Carol and I went on holiday with them several times and him and jean added to the pleasure of going away. Recently I have enjoyed walking and talking with him on Thursday mornings until he no longer had the energy to do it. He has left a space in all our lives that will be difficult to fill.

Thinking of lovely times spent together before I moved to Scotland.Not been together for some time but a very loved friend and will be missed by all.
